| The
second Ford novel. To steal a phrase from Desert Storm: Florida
is a target rich environment. It's true. Florida attracts
predators -- Karl Sutter, the villain in this novel, is real
in that anyone can come to this state from anyplace in the
world and make claims about their lives, their achievements,
that will be accepted without question. Nearly everyone in
Florida is a newcomer, and it is the absence of rooted fabric
that makes this state an ideal refuge for fakes, liars and
predators such as Sutter. |
